Illustration for the New Zealand Motor Trade Association's (MTA) summer 2020 limited edition gift card.

The playful design is inspired by the Kiwi love of the outdoors, tramps, sun, surf, sand and cruising down the open road with friends and family through stunning natural landscapes. From 1917 through to the present, MTA has encouraged this adventurous spirit - and road safety!

Each aspect of the illustration is a nod to an aspect of a road trip: jandals, camping, bush, sunnies, fuel pump with petrol and electric options, a family and their dog loving the journey, and even a classic mince pie with tomato sauce - the ultimate roadie pit-stop fuel.
