Life's a Peach

Peach orchard growers were the early residents of Glenfield's Peach Rd, its namesake, fertilising the ground for today's suburban community to grow and flourish. My design links the past and present (sharing and enjoying the fruits of our ancestors' labour), as well as celebrating our connection to the land and gratitutde for harvesting its delicious gifts (in turn, we must tend to and care for it so we can thrive in synergy).

It was such an exciting project to paint a cabinet box for Chorus in tandem with Auckland Council for the Chorus cabinet art programme, bringing colour to neighbourhoods nationwide
